Sharing life experiences”
Sharing life experiences”
Hello everyone,
I would like to share an experience from my job at an optical store where I had to be flexible and adapt to a new process. Some time ago, our workplace implemented a new digital system to schedule appointments and manage customer records. At first, it was a bit challenging because we were used to writing everything manually, and learning how to use the platform took some time and patience.
What was the result of the experience?
After practicing and learning, I managed to use the new system correctly. The result was very positive since it helped us organize appointments better, avoid mistakes, and offer faster service to customers. This change improved our daily work and made the process more efficient.
How did your flexibility and adaptability help you to deal with the situation?
My flexibility helped me stay calm and open to learning. Instead of resisting the change, I focused on understanding how the system could make our tasks easier. I asked questions, practiced often, and even helped some coworkers when they needed support. This attitude helped me adapt quickly and contribute to the team.
Would you change anything in order to deal in a better way with it?
If I could change something, I would request a short training session before starting to use the new system. That would have made the transition smoother and reduced the initial confusion.
In conclusion, I learned that flexibility and adaptability are very important in any job because changes are constant, and they can help us grow professionally and improve the quality of our service.
Best regards,
Claudia Patricia Díaz
